Once I got out of the city, and into the tipi at Leo Carillo State Park Beach, I felt much better. the creek was less than 50 feet away, and the frogs sang a chorus of rib-bits thru the night. perfect "white noise", some what soothing like rain against the tipi.

The whole of the technical bicycle jaunt was good. Technically every thing works and the bulk was not ridiculous to haul. from here its now sliming things down, and going other places.

This ride from LA to Ventura and then Oxnard was easy.

the whole LA Trip was easy. the ride to Salinas from Monterey was flat and easy, about a 2 hour ride. the ride from Union Station to my sisters house, was ok. the only thing that came up was the flat i had to fix some where around Korea Town on Wilshire Blvd at 9pm.

the biggest challenge was getting the loaded rig thru doorways, in and out of trains, buses, across depots, etc.
